I stopped my commercial practice in 2021. From my first commission, I realised that my style and values didn’t quite fit commercial expectations. So, from 2009 to 2015, I published under the pseudonym Vito Mirr. Working in commercial photography has given me many opportunities to explore visual possibilities that I wouldn't have on my own. After over a decade of client work, I’m now more inclined to shoot images that aren’t tied to a brief or trends in fashion, advertising, or commercial portraiture.
